iOS does not include a “download video” button for most Instagram posts. The practical path is browser-based: copy the link in Instagram, then finish the download in Safari with Saveinstagram.net.

Steps for iPhone & iPad

  1. Open the video, reel or story in Instagram.
  2. Tap Share → Copy link.
  3. Switch to Safari and go to saveinstagram.net.
  4. Paste the link and tap Submit.
  5. Tap Download on the preview.
  6. Find the file in the Files app (Downloads), then move it to Photos if you like.

Where files land on iOS

Safari usually stores downloads in the Downloads folder inside Files. From there you can save videos to Photos or AirDrop them to another device.
